One Night Wheel Class
EVERY OTHER FRIDAY
Curious about wheel throwing? This one-night wheel throwing class is the perfect introduction to working on the pottery wheel. You’ll learn the fundamentals—how to center clay, open it up, pull walls, and shape a simple form like a bowl or mug. You’ll start with multiple balls of clay to practice, then choose your favorite piece at the end of the night to keep.
After class, our staff will clean up the bottom of your piece once it has dried to the right stage, then fire and glaze it for you—no extra steps required. Wheel throwing is a skill that usually takes more than one night to master, so come with a sense of curiosity and be proud of whatever you create. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage and enjoy a relaxed, creative evening at the wheel.
***Pieces will be ready for pickup 4-6 weeks after the class.
